The Future of Hospitality Summit, a student-led initiative, was held on campus at Les Roches Switzerland from 13 to 15 October 2017. Open to students attending any school, the event featured keynote presentations given by industry leaders and workshops run by hospitality companies and startups.

The Summit also featured a business pitching competition open to attending students and held in partnership with hosco. Students were asked to propose an innovative business concept, presenting their idea to a panel of hospitality leaders. Les Roches students Laura Oropeza Sanchez, Antonio Prado Carus and Rami Sayess won the Best Business Idea award for their proposal to use artificial intelligence as a tool to help recruiters during the interview process.

As part of the prize, the winning students will travel to the Global hosco Summit in Barcelona, where they will be able to develop their idea further and present it to others.
